John David Webster Concert

Tonight my church had its first concert in our 2006 concert series. John David Webster performed. I must say I was really impressed with his music. He and his drummer were the only two guys on stage, but it sounded huge. They had an authentic tone, and the lyrics resonated with my stage in life. Everyone there had a great time. Before the concert a couple of the small-groups of the church had a talegating party that was a lot of fun. We had all of our kids there. They played ball and pretended to do battle with sticks.

All my boys were there in attendance for their first concert. I asked my oldest son if he wanted to go to a concert and he said, “Yeah!” I said, “Do you even know what a concert is?” He said, “No.” He had a blast though, sitting with his brothers and cousins. My second oldest son was dancing and singing in the aisle. I wish I had gotten a picture of that, but it was too dark. Here are some photos I took.
